HTF Candles+

HTF candle overlay with PO3 alignment, key NY opens, and session box framework for Triton Trades.

Overview

HTF Candles+ is a partner indicator built for the Triton Trades community. It projects higher-timeframe candles to the right of price for clean PO3 (Power of Three) read-through, anchors the day with the key New York opening prices, and frames each session with configurable session boxes — all in a single overlay.

The indicator removes the need to flip between timeframes during execution: HTF structure stays visible on the same chart, and the session and opening references stay anchored where they matter most.

Core Features

HTF PO3 Candle Projection

Projects the last N higher-timeframe candles to the right of price with their own bodies, wicks, and borders. Automatic mode selects the appropriate HTF based on the current chart timeframe; Manual mode lets you lock it in. Includes a candle-close countdown timer and optional HTF open price projection back across the chart.

Key NY Opens

Tracks the three opens that anchor an ICT-style day:

• Midnight Open (M.N.O.) — true day open at NY 00:00
• 8:30 Open — pre-market data window
• 9:30 Open — regular session cash open

Each open has an independent color toggle, and the module is gated by a max-timeframe filter so the opens stay hidden on higher timeframes where they aren't relevant.

Session Boxes

Renders Asia, London, NY AM, Lunch, and NY PM session ranges as configurable boxes with independent colors per session. Borders, transparent fill, and per-session times are all adjustable, and a min/max chart timeframe range controls when the boxes appear.

A lookback control (1 Day / 3 Days / 1 Week) keeps the chart clean by limiting how far back historical session boxes are drawn.

PO3 Settings

Toggle HTF candle projection, horizontal offset (in bars), candle count (1–10), automatic or manual HTF, bullish/bearish/border/wick colors, candle-close timer with size control, and HTF open projection line with style and color.

Key Opens

Highest timeframe visibility filter, independent toggles and colors for the Midnight, 8:30, and 9:30 opens, line style (Solid / Dashed / Dotted), label size, and extension bars for how far each open line projects forward.

Session Boxes

Lookback window (1 Day / 3 Days / 1 Week), border toggle with style selector, transparent fill, independent enable/color/time for Asia, London, NYAM, Lunch, and NYPM sessions, separate box-fill colors per session, and a min/max chart timeframe range for visibility.

How We Use It

HTF Candles+ is the structural layer the Triton Trades community uses to read PO3 behavior on the chart timeframe without losing visual context. The HTF candle projection makes the current HTF range obvious, the key NY opens anchor bias for the day, and the session boxes show where intraday liquidity was built and where the next sweep is likely to come from.
