Unmitigated Imbalance

Tracks unfilled Fair Value Gaps across multiple timeframes — gaps that price hasn't revisited yet.

Overview

The Unmitigated Imbalance indicator identifies Fair Value Gaps that price hasn't yet revisited. It filters continuously: the moment price returns to a gap, that gap is removed from the chart.

The tool displays unfilled imbalances across the current timeframe plus up to four higher timeframes simultaneously, defaulting to 15m, 60m, and 240m.

How We Use It

We use this indicator as a session planning tool. Before the open, we identify the nearest unmitigated gaps above and below current price — these represent the most likely institutional delivery targets across multiple timeframes.

Tip

Use "Wick" mitigation for a stricter filter (gaps disappear on any touch) or "Close" mitigation for a more conservative approach that keeps gaps visible until price fully closes through them.
