ICT Liquidity Levels

Maps institutional liquidity by detecting swing highs (BSL) and swing lows (SSL) with REQ clustering.

Overview

The ICT Liquidity Levels indicator maps institutional liquidity by detecting swing highs (buyside liquidity / BSL) and swing lows (sellside liquidity / SSL). Price typically sweeps one of these levels to trigger stop orders and acquire the liquidity needed to fill institutional positions.

The tool identifies major versus minor swings, displays them as colored horizontal lines, and features REQ (Relatively Equal) merging — clusters of equal highs and lows are stronger targets than isolated ones.

How We Use It

We prioritize identifying the nearest BSL and SSL levels as primary price targets. REQH (Relatively Equal Highs) and REQL (Relatively Equal Lows) labels signal dense stop-order clusters worthy of close monitoring at session start.

Note

REQ levels are especially powerful targets. When multiple swing highs or lows cluster at nearly the same price, the accumulated stop orders create a magnetic draw for institutional activity.
