HTF POI

Single-timeframe FVG overlay that automatically displays the most relevant higher-timeframe gap nearest to price.

Overview

The HTF POI (Points of Interest) indicator is a focused, single-timeframe FVG overlay that automatically selects and displays the most relevant HTF Fair Value Gap closest to the current price. Rather than showing multiple gaps, it shows the single nearest unmitigated gap above or below current price, providing a clean chart view.

The timeframe can be set to Automatic (where the indicator selects an appropriate HTF based on your chart) or Manual (where you specify it).

Settings

General

Extend HTF FVGs by X bars — Integer (default: 10) How many bars to the right each FVG box extends beyond the current candle.

Alignment Mode — Automatic / Manual (default: Automatic) Automatic selects HTF based on a built-in alignment table; Manual lets you specify the exact timeframe.

Timeframe — Timeframe selector (default: 60) Active only when Alignment Mode is set to Manual.

Appearance

Label Text Color — Color picker (default: black)

Label Size — Tiny / Small / Normal / Large (default: Small)

Bullish Box Fill — Color picker (default: teal, 90% transparent)

Bearish Box Fill — Color picker (default: red, 90% transparent)

Border — Toggle (default: off)

Bull Border Color — Color picker (default: teal, 60% transparent)

Bear Border Color — Color picker (default: red, 60% transparent)

How We Use It

HTF POI is complementary to the Prophet Model or Flow State Model. Those indicators provide entry triggers (CISD, FVG) while HTF POI provides macro context. In Automatic mode, timeframe selection adjusts intelligently based on chart resolution.
