HTF Order Blocks
Multi-timeframe order block overlay — see institutional zones from up to six timeframes on your execution chart.
Overview
The HTF Order Blocks indicator detects and draws institutional order blocks from multiple higher timeframes and overlays them on your current chart. An order block represents the final candle before an impulsive move — where institutional orders were originally positioned.
The tool analyzes up to six timeframes using ATR-based filtering, converts violated blocks into breaker blocks, and labels each zone with timeframe and direction information.
Settings
General
OB Detection Sensitivity — High / Medium / Low (default: Medium) Controls ATR-based filtering thresholds. High (0.2× ATR) catches most blocks. Medium (0.5× ATR) filters small ones. Low (1.0× ATR) only shows large, significant blocks.
Maximum Lookback — 1 Day / 1 Week / 1 Month / Max (default: 1 Week) Determines historical range for block sourcing. Older blocks suit weekly charts better than intraday work.
Show Breaker Blocks — Toggle (default: off) When enabled, violated order blocks display as breaker blocks in lighter shades. Disabling shows only active, unmitigated blocks.
Timeframes
Show Current Timeframe — Toggle (default: on) Enables order block detection on the active chart timeframe.
Show HTF 1–5 — Toggle + timeframe selector (×5 slots) Five independent higher timeframe configurations, each toggleable and customizable.
Appearance
Bearish OB Color — Color picker (default: red, 80% transparent)
Bullish OB Color — Color picker (default: teal, 80% transparent)

How We Use It
When a 15-minute FVG overlaps with an HTF OB from the 1-hour or 4-hour chart, the confluence is treated as the highest-quality entry location. Breaker blocks carry greater relevance on higher timeframes; intraday execution relies more on fresh blocks and FVGs.
Enable "Show Volume" to gauge institutional participation at each block. Higher relative volume often indicates more significant zones.
