OTE Ranges
Tracks the Optimal Trade Entry zone (0.705–0.786 Fibonacci retracement) in real time, automatically detecting range reversals and re-entries.
Overview
OTE Ranges is built on the ICT Optimal Trade Entry concept — the zone between the 0.705 and 0.786 Fibonacci retracement levels where institutional entries are most likely to occur. The indicator continuously tracks the active price range (bullish or bearish), plots the high and low boundaries, and fills the OTE zone between 0.705 and 0.786. When price re-enters the OTE zone, a setup arms — if the range high is subsequently swept, the range flips from bearish to bullish (or vice versa). If the range low is swept instead, it's a continuation with the range resetting. An optional midline at the 50% of the OTE zone provides a precise entry reference within the zone.

How We Use It
OTE Ranges is used as a structural bias and entry framework tool. The team watches for price to retrace into the OTE zone (0.705-0.786) after a displacement move — entries at the midline or deeper into the zone provide the tightest risk-to-reward setups. When the range flips from bearish to bullish (or vice versa), it's a structural signal that aligns with the Prophet Model and CRT workflow. The OTE zone acts as a natural complement to FVGs and CISDs — when a CISD or first-presented FVG forms inside an active OTE zone, the confluence is treated as a high-conviction entry location.
Enable the OTE Midline for a precise entry reference within the zone. The midline often marks the exact level where institutional entries cluster during retracements.
